Best bedtimes

I finally have been able to teach the mamma the best bedtime ritual.

First she goes to bed.  She sleeps on her right side and her right hand is tucked under the pillow.  Then I come to bed and get on her right side.

Most of the time, she would reach out with her top (left) hand to pet me.  That's ok, but I really don't like being petted 'overhand'.  Sometimes I would get anxious and have to bestow a bitey.

However, now she will stretch out her right arm along the bed. I sit next to her and she bends her arm.  She starts to five me *underhand* pets.

So I then semi-bloop against her arm.

If she continues to skritch well, I then bloop all the way.  I stretch out perpendicular to her.  She stretches her arm out and can still reach my head for pets.

During this whole time, I move my head so I get pets exactly where I want.  When I am finished, I droop my head over the side of the bed and we both drift off to sleep.

The amount of time this takes depends on how scary SAS Ringo's stories have been.
